Indiana Jones
The new Indiana Jones movie was set to be the guinea pig this year for what the general public felt about sequel movies. This summer, several sequels are prepared to open in theatres around the country.

This weekend it was Indiana Jones' turn. He swung into theatres on Thursday, and so far, the results have been lower than expected. Producers are not happy with the early returns, but that could still change through the weekend.

On Thursday,
the screening closed at $25 million. That was much lower than other Thursday debuts. Star Wars: Episode III-Revenge of the Sith' was first on that list.

Other movies that came in above the new Indiana Jones for Thursday debuts were The Matrix Reloaded, and Star Wars Episode II-Attack of the Clones.

Projections could reach expectations throughout the weekend. The fact that Monday is Memorial Day will only help the movie, and numbers from Friday have raised to $31 million.
