Avril Lavigne Singing
Avril Lavigne was doing her best to battle through voice problems and finish her tour. The voice has become to much of a problem to allow her to continue.

Lavigne had already canceled shows in Phoenix and San Diego when she realized that more would have to be canceled as well. She was trying to get through the rest of the tour, but realized in a sound check that the voice problem was too much to overcome.

"My sincerest apologies to all of my fans. My intention was
to complete the rest of the tour, but tonight at sound check in Anaheim I realized this wasn't possible," she said in a statement.

Refunds will be available for the concerts that were canceled. Santa Barbara, Universal City, San Jose, and Anaheim, California shows were canceled. Show in Everett and Spokane, Washington, were also eliminated.

The singer claimed that she tried to rest her voice, but that "When I tried to sing, nothing came out."
