North America And Europe To Highlight The Tour Locations
Tina Turner has toured for many years, and her fans are endless in countries all across the world. The diva is now set to hit the road again and when a member of The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame tours, it is a big deal.
Turner announced at a taping of 'The Oprah Winfrey Show' that she will once again begin to tour. She has not toured in eight years, so Turner will have to spend some time re-adjusting to life on the road.
The tour will kick off in Kansas on October 1st of this year. It will proceed to other cities in the U.S., then will likely move to the other side of the world, and Europe. Tickets for the tour will go on sale May 12th, according to Turner.
When Turner tours, she usually draws a crowd. In 2000, when she last toured, it was the top grossing tour of the year. It could have drawn higher than expected crowds due to it being billed as her last tour.
Now, eight years later, and Turner once again has the itch to be out on stage and on the road. Her tour will be held in arenas, and it is not yet known if anyone will be touring with her.
