Jimmy Fallon has been an NBC guy for many years. He has been on Saturday Night Live, and now is ready to take over for Conan O'Brien as the host of Late Night when O'Brien Moves To the Tonight Show in 2009.

O'Brien Moving To The Tonight Show
Jimmy Fallon has been doing mostly movies over the past couple of years. After being a part of the cast of Saturday Night Live, he has turned his attention to the big screen.

Now the actor is ready to make the move back to NBC. The Hollywood Reporter is claiming that Fallon will be unveiled as the new host of Late Night at a network presentation to advertisers in New York on May 12th.

The Late Night spot is opening up because Conan O'Brien is leaving as the host. He will be taking over for Jay Leno on The Tonight Show in 2009. Leno, it is rumored, is still not happy with the decision.

NBC must make the move to replace Leno with O'Brien. If they do not make the move, O'Brien stands to make a lot of money from the network, due to a contract between the two. The network is prepared to make the switch, regardless of the contract.

It has been rumored for a while that Fallon could be the successor to O'Brien.
