Star Jones gained her fame as a co-host on daytime talk show 'The View'. She no longer hosts the show, but remains a television personality. It has been reported that she is now seeking a divorce from her husband, Al Reynolds, of three years.

"The dissolution of a marriage is a difficult time in anyone's life that requires privacy with one's thoughts. I have committed myself to handling this situation with dignity and grace and look forward to emerging from this period as a stronger and wiser woman," said Jones in a statement released to Entertainment Tonight.

Jones filed the divorce notice back on March 26th. She has criticized the way she allowed her private life to become public knowledge in the statement.

"Several years ago I made an error in judgment by inviting the media into the most intimate area of my life. A month ago I filed for divorce," Jones said.

Jones used The View to plug several of the corporate sponsors that helped her with her wedding. She was heavily criticized for the move to endorse the sponsors on the air.
