David Hasselhoff was expected to be released from the hospital on Monday night. He was admitted to the hospital for facial surgery on Saturday.

His publicist has confirmed that Hasselhoff had something removed from above his eye on Saturday. She would not, however, confirm what it was that was removed.

There had been speculation that Hasselhoff was back in rehab, but that was denied by the publicist. "He's fine, he's coming
out tonight," said Judy Katz on Monday.

The actor is coming off a recent divorce with his ex, Pamela Bach. He has agreed last week to pay Bach $25,000 a month in the settlement. He also has two daughters with Bach, and they will receive $4,000 a month from Hasselhoff.

He has been most recently associated with his work as a judge on the television show, America's Got Talent. Before that, Hasselhoff became famous for his roles on Baywatch and Knight Rider.
