Scott Weiland has been in the news a lot recently. He has been volleying parting shots back and forth with his former band mates from Velvet Revolver. Weiland walked off the stage on the band recently.

The band proceeded to say that Weiland was no longer a member of Revolver. "Among other things, his increasingly erratic on-stage behavior and personal problems have forced us to move on," said band guitarist, Slash, in a statement.

The band will not be the only ones moving on, apparently. Weiland played a private
performance in Los Angeles with none other than his mates from Stone Temple Pilots.

The group has now announced that they will be reuniting and will be going on a North American tour. The tour will be the first for the band in eight years. It will cover 65 cities, and will start in Columbus, Ohio on May 17th.

The tour will not be the only news coming from the band's camp. They are also planning on recording a new album after the tour. "The story's not finished. There's more to be revealed and more to be told," said Weiland, to the Associated Press.
